Last week children in Years 5 and 6 completed their final designs of Viking brooches. They made them out of salt dough using sculpting techniques they learnt during lessons. They included Celtic knots and animal patterns in their brooches. Lastly, they painted them and evaluated their project. Children's work is now displayed in Mansfield Museum over the summer holidays.
