Mapplewells Primary and Nursery School sits in the heart of Sutton in Ashfield and is a proud member
of the Flying High Trust. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to become the Teaching and Learning
Leader at our wonderful school. Mapplewells has a strong reputation within the local community that

The search is on for a superb, highly motivated classroom teacher and leader with a passion for
providing children with high quality, interactive and memorable learning experiences. The successful
candidate will have allocated teaching responsibility as well as substantial leadership time to lead
and further develop Teaching and Learning across the school. As a member of the Senior Leadership
Team, they will play an active role in school improvement and work with us in our continual drive to
provide our children with the best education possible.

We are currently looking to recruit a dynamic, committed, highly organised and proud Site Manager. This is a key role in our school and the successful applicant will be responsible for both the security, safety, and maintenance of our site on a daily basis. They will make sure the school and grounds are always presented at their absolute best and in-keeping with our school values. The applicant must have a good knowledge of maintenance and be an all-round handyperson reflecting our well established positive school ethos

Inspiring Leaders Teacher Training

 

Candleby Lane TSA is a lead deliverer with the Inspiring Leaders Teacher Training SCITT and offers Primary Teacher training in schools across the City and County each year. Inspiring Leaders Teacher Training is a SCITT managed by Candleby Lane TSA and their partners in Leicestershire - Affinity TSA. Through their partnership they aim for a person's training year to be the first step in their career. 

 

The programme offers both QTS and PGCE qualifications and they work in close partnership with Nottingham Trent University and the University of Leicester to accredit this learning. Full details can be found at Inspiring Leaders SCITT website.
