Friends of Mapplewells

The Friends of Mapplewells Group was formed primarily to raise funds for items and projects that make Mapplewells School a nicer place for our children. In 2011 we obtained charitable status, enabling us to access grants that the school alone cannot apply for. Currently we help to organise the Christmas and Summer fairs, help to set up the school discos in addition to the book sales and cake/coffee events. We are always on the look out for more parents to be involved in our Group and if anyone can offer ANY amount of time to help organise events, attend meetings, give us advice on grants/funding applications or just to let us have any ideas for future fundraising events, please come along to our meetings.
