Our School Day starts at 8.45am

Lunchtime is from 12.00 to 1.00pm

Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and  Year 2)

 

Our School Day starts at 8.45am

 Key Stage 1 Playtime is from 10.15am to 10.30am

Lunchtime is from 12.00 to 1.00pm

Foundation & Key Stage 1 Afternoon Playtime is from 2.00pm to 2.15pm

Our School Day ends at 3.15pm

 

 

Key Stage 2 (Year 3 to Year 6)

 

Our School Day starts at 8.45am

Key Stage 2 Playtime is from 10.35am to 10.50am

Lunchtime is from 12.00 to 1.00pm

Our School Day ends at 3.15pm

At Mapplewells at the start of the school day a whistle is blown on the playground and children line up with their class to be brought into school by a member of the teaching staff. Children come straight into their classrooms and registration is completed.

 

Lessons begin promptly after registration and it it important that lessons are not disrupted by late arrivals as children who are late miss important introductions to lessons.

 

All children have a 15 minutes morning playtime

 

Lunch is from 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm.

 

All children benefit from a variety of dishes freshly cooked on the premises. Each day there are two options to choose from, one of these is always a vegetarian option.

 

Facilities are available for children bringing packed lunches and they can enjoy their meal in the dining room with the other children, when school dinners are served.

 

At the end of the school day when parents collect their children from the nearest exit to their child's classroom.
