Well Mapplewells, it has been a remarkable start to the academic year with regards our sporting achievements. Here are the highlights:

 

- Over 50 pupils have represented the school at Inter school level 

- Over 90 pupils have attended extra-curricular activities 

- Sports Leaders and Personal Challenge Trainers have worked with the Assistant SGO

- B team Futsal WINNERS

- Year 5/6 A Team Cross Country WINNERS

- Year 5/6 B Team Cross Country RUNNERS UP

- Year 3/4 B Team Indoor Rowing RUNNERS UP

- Year 3/4 A Team Indoor Rowing 3rd PLACE 

- Girls Football Team - losing semi-finalists at the Suggett Shield Tournament

- School Football Team - qualified for the Payne Trophy finals and won their knockout cup game 

- Pupils have worked with specialised coaches from Sutton In Ashfield Harriers, Wicketz Cricket, Knee High Ninjas and Crazy Catch 

- Sports Minister and Deputy Sports Minister appointed (Sports Journalist next)

- DreamBig Tour from NFFC in school 

- 4 posters complete for Aldi competition (5th one has been started) 

- Hosted 2 football tournaments 

- Become a Gold Award school for School Games 2018/19
