The Christmas Fair was another huge success this year. Miss Christie and the Friends of Mapplewells Group worked very hard in order to plan and prepare for the event and I would like to thank them on behalf of the school. There was a lovely festive atmosphere and it was great to see so many of our families enjoying the event.

 

The attendance figures were high and we managed to raise £1565, which will be a great boost for school funds!

 

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the staff, children, parents and governors who donated items, baked cakes and gave up their time to set up and run stalls for the Fair, what a fantastic team! I would also like to say thank you to all the local businesses that held stalls and generously donated some super prizes for our draw. All of these elements came together, to create a lovely event. Well done!
