It's official, on Wednesday 10th June a Virtual Sports Day will take place across the Flying High Trust - let's see if Mapplewells can come out on top win GOLD?
Taking part in this event is easy and open to everyone, that includes pupils, parents and STAFF. Leading up to the day, a new event will be launched every Tuesday via Twitter and Class Dojo. The plan is to train and practice at this event as much as you can, then on the 10th June you can take part and try to get your best score! A form will be released during the week of the Sports Day, this is where results and entries will be submitted.
So, head over to @MapplewellsPrim, @FlyingHighTrust and @FHT_PE for the launch video which has been recorded by Mr Darby. On the afternoon of Monday 4th May, we have a special guest who will wish pupils Good Luck so look out for this.
At 11am on Tuesday 5th May look out for the very first event being launched, this event is the Triple Jump Speed Bounce, a combination of 2 events which are usually competed at during primary athletic events. Each day a new video will be uploaded of staff and coaches taking part, look out for some familiar faces.
As always we'd love to see you getting involved so show us your training attempts via our school Twitter page @MapplewellsPrim. Twitter is FREE and is a great way of keeping up to date with everything Mapplewells.
Stay safe everyone
